welcome to the lutheran digital mission league

Ancient Truth. Living Faith.
Digital Mission.

“Digital platforms have become the primary resource for people to ask spiritual questions, investigate Christianity, and form their first impressions of the Church. This presents one of the most significant missionary opportunities in church history.” -From Lutheran Digital Mission League’s Statement on LCMS Resolution 1-13A (2026)

HISTORIC FAITH FOR THE DIGITAL AGE

Our Mission,
Passion, & Vision

Our Mission: To be advancing a faithful digital witness by equipping clergy, church workers, and the lay faithful to create beautiful, compelling, and confessionally Lutheran media that proclaims Christ, strengthens the Church, and connects people to Word and Sacrament through faithful local congregations.

Our Passion: When two Christian brothers that connected through social media in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod began thinking about reaching their generation with the beauty of the Church’s truth and theology, the founding of the Lutheran Digital Witness League commenced. We desire to give local congregations and ministries greater visibility while helping members and the general public discover events and resources they might otherwise never know existed across the Synod.

Our Vision: To see the urgent need for the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, to carry the pure Word and light of Christ into every corner of the world, including the digital space, being met today for tomorrow’s new Lutheran.

Lutheran Digital Mission League’s Statement

The following select quotes are sourced from Lutheran Digital Mission League’s Statement on LCMS Resolution 1-13A (2026):

“For many Millennials and Generation Z, the first step toward visiting a local congregation is their online interaction with those from across the Synod.”

“More people can be invited into the Church’s gathered life around Word and Sacrament by first hearing the Gospel in the palm of their hand.”

“Faithful digital witness will require the combined efforts of thousands of pastors, congregations, church workers, campus ministries, schools, organizations, and the lay faithful proclaiming Christ across every digital platform.”

“Experienced pastors who possess deep theological wisdom can work together with younger Lutherans who bring significant familiarity with today’s digital culture, strengthening the Church’s witness together.”

Our Beliefs
as Stated by the LCMS

The Lutheran Digital Witness League exists to proclaim and promote the historic Christian faith as confessed by the Evangelical Lutheran Church.

We believe, teach, and confess that which is found within the Brief Statement of the Doctrinal Position of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (1932) and furthermore hold to The Book of Concord of 1580 because (in quia) it is a true and faithful exposition of the Word of God, being the correct exposition of biblical doctrine. This includes: The Three Ecumenical Creeds (Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian), The Augsburg Confession, The Apology of the Augsburg Confession, The Smalcald Articles, The Treatise on the Power and Primacy of the Pope, Luther’s Small Catechism, Luther’s Large Catechism, and The Formula of Concord.

Accordingly, all teaching, publishing, and media produced by the Lutheran Digital Mission League seeks to remain faithful to these confessions and to direct people to Christ through His Word and Sacraments via the Church.

By connecting church members and visitors for fellowship before midweek Mass, Meals Before Mass helps cultivate an authentic Christian community, welcome newcomers, and strengthen relationships within local congregations.

Christian Flag Runs (Future)

A nationwide movement to equip Christians to participate in community runs and walks while carrying the Christian flag as a visible witness to Christ and Him crucified. Through joyful public participation, the initiative encourages believers to engage their communities with humility and hope, opening opportunities for conversation, evangelism, and encouragement.

By bringing a faithful Christian presence into public spaces, Christian Flag Runs seeks to remind communities that Christ’s Church is active, visible, and committed to serving the world with the Gospel.

“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” -Jesus, ref. Mark 16:15 (ESV)
